Since 2013, I have been repairing antique phonographs from the late 1890s to the 1920s. I purchased my first Victrola at 12 years old, and in the last twelve years, my collection has grown by leaps and bounds! My repair work started by word of mouth and has led me to work on nearly 100 machines now. I have serviced several brands of phonographs including, Victor, Edison, Columbia, Chenney, Birch, Silvertone, and Regal. Frequently, people do not realize the potential of the machines they own. Whether they inherited it from a relative or purchased it from an antique store, original machines seldom play with the same quality sound reproduction as when they were new.
